TEF conducted 5th Technical seminar

TamilNadu Engineers Forum conducted 5th technical seminar on the topic – “Enhancing Reliability, Efficiency & Environment friendliness of Reciprocating Compressors” on 27th Apr 2015.
The program began with the Emcee of the evening Mr. Subramani calling upon Mr. Moorthy to deliver the welcome address, followed by Mr. Samuel introducing the speaker of the evening. The Speaker of the evening, Mr. Harsha Rao, Business Development Manager, Hoerbiger MEA delivered a valuable session on the topic. Reciprocating compressor is one among the inevitable equipment used in the Oil & Gas sector, the majority of the crowd is in some way related to this industry and hence found the topic very interesting. There was a Demonstration Skid, which has a running compressor model with the devices designed to monitor its parameters to enhance its Reliability, watching the skid running served as an additional sweet to the treat!. Emcee Mr. Subramani, meticulously conducted the entire program and moderated the Q&A session. The Seminar ended by presenting a memento to the Speaker of the evening by Mr. K. Venkatachalam followed by vote of thanks by Mr. R.Raghuraman.
The event turned out to be a great success with the active participation of all the TEF members. Dinner arrangement made from Oriental restaurant.
