“UFCA -Utsav-2015” mesmerized the viewers with a unique musical evening

On 10th April 2015 all roads led to Maidan Hawally, venue of "UTSAV-2015”, presented by "United Friends Cultural Association” the Fifth Annual Grand Gala, under the patronage of honorable Chairman of Almeer Technical Services Co. Kuwait with the Esteemed presence of the Hon. Ambassador of India His Excellency Mr. Sunil Jain as the Chief Guest. There was literally a festive air prevailed in and around the American International School and the Auditorium echoed with foot-tapping musical fusion by the distinguished Maestro Stephen Devassy along with his Troupe and the Singing sensation Ms. Preethi Warrior. Stephen Devassy and his band members wowed the packed hall with their masterful strokes on their respective musical instruments.
The captivating dance extravaganza by the popular Dance troupe Daze Kuwait & Heart Beatz rocked the audience and took the them to a new level of entertainment. Over 100 locally talented dancers with their 10 performance added with solid light and sound effects powered by Tally Group, Kuwait. Overflowing Crowds from different parts of Kuwait with same spirit and enthusiasm made the event a great success.
A dazzling and colorful procession welcoming the dignitaries to the Dias with pomp and pride in a glorious manner depicting the heritage of India, accompanied by Customary Drum set (Chenda Melam) arranged, was amazing and superb.
Following the National anthems of Kuwait & India, the ceremony was auspiciously begun with Quran, recited by Master Affan Alam. President Mr. Salim. R addressed the audience followed by the Program Manager Mr. V Dili welcomed all the dignitaries on the dais and thanked them for their treasured presence. Key Speaker, Advisory Board Member of UFCA Mr. K.N. Subramanian highlighted all the achievements of UFCA and encouraged UFCA members to go beyond the call of duty and engage in providing service to the community. Chief Guest of the event His Excellency Mr. Sunil Jain the Ambassador of India inaugurated the function with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Active presence, of the respected Chairman of Almeer Technical Services Company Mr. Adnan Almeer, Guest of Honor Mr. Essa Al-Jadi, Team Leader of Kuwait Oil Company, Mr. Anmar H Al-Hussona Managing Director of Almeer Technical Services Company and Mr. Hamad Manager of Almeer Technical Services Company and Mr. K. Sajeevan Advisory Board Member of UFCA graced the occasion. Main sponsors of the event were M/s. Almulla Exchange Co., M/s. Shiffa Al-Jazeera Medical Centre & TVS Cargo. Their delegates were seated on dais and honored with mementos. The inaugural session ended with the Vote of thanks of Treasurer Mr. Sunil Kumar T.V. Mr. George Kurian needs a special mention for the way he played his role as Event Convener.
The Chairman of Almeer Technical Services Co. Mr. Adnan Almeer handed over the multi-color Souvenir, on the occasion, to the Ambassador of India His Excellency Mr. Sunil Jain and he released the same by handing over the first copy to the respected Team Leader of KOC Mr. Essa Al-Jadi. Thereafter souvenir copies were distributed among the viewers too as a token of remembrance. On this august occasion launching of two Books, named (1) Reversion (Urdu Title:Bazgasht) & (2) The Collected Stories (Muntakhib Kahaniyan) was made, authored by Mr. Mahtab Alam Pervez from Almeer Technical Service Company.
Anchorpersons of the event were Mr. & Mrs. Rajesh T.R. The event ended with delicious dinner served to all those attended. UFCA is proud and gratified of its members for the roles they played, the contributions they made and the skills, patience and the commitment they brought to this event.
