Pathanamthitta District Association conducted Family Picnic

PATHANAMTHITTA DISTRICT ASSOCIATION held a Family Picnic on 10th April 2015 at a beautiful resort spot in Kabd in which a large number of members belonging to different places of Pathanamthitta District participated with their families. President Oommen George inaugurated the Picnic exhorting the participants to use the occasion of the Picnic to spread the fragrance of love and friendship among the Association members and as a symbolic act to convey this message, spread flowers high in the air.
The arrangements and activities of the Family Picnic were organized and controlled by Event Manager Benny Pathanamthitta, Vice President Murali Panicker, Advisory Board Members, Binu John Philip and John Mathew, Treasurer P.T. Samuelkutty, Secretaries Biji Murali and Jithin Jose, Publicity Convener Jomy George,Charity & Welfare Convener Thomas John, Executive Committee Members Charls George, Mathew Oommen, Abu Peter Sam, M.K. George, Biju Varghese, M.A. Latif, C.P. Mohan Das, Kurian Benny, Shiphin Philip, Adarsh Aadideva, Kalaivani, and Regina Latif. The Games and cultural programs were orchestrated by General Secretary Biju Kumbazha in coordiantion with Charls, Jithin Jose, Mathew Oommen and Kalaivani. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the games by the Office Bearers. A special award was given to Executive Committee member Kurian Benny's daughter, Ms. Berlin P. Benny as she is leaving Kuwait for higher studies after completing 12th Standard. The Picnic ended at 5 pm.
The Picnic was an enjoyable and memorable experience for all who participated. It was also notable for the excellent bonhomie among the members and the active participation of all including women and children in the games and programs of the Picnic.
