Indian Doctors Forum distributed Health Guide 2015

Indian Doctors Forum recently organized a special breakfast meeting, inviting esteemed honorary members and office bearers of various Indian associations to Durar Community Club, Riggae on Friday 10th April 2015. This is an annual event held by IDF to distribute free copies of Health Guide 2015 (Geriatric Medicine) amongst various members of Indian Community. This was also a good opportunity for various Indian associations to interact with IDF. The welcome address was given by the Dr. Vinod Grover-President Indian Doctors Forum. This was followed by a short talk General Secretary of IDF Dr. Jafer Ismail Ali about the various activities and achievements of IDF, with special emphasis on organizing of Health Camps and health-related activities. Dr. Bilquis Khot Co-editor of Health Guide enumerated the hard work put in by the experts in bringing it to fruition. This event was also attended by other senior members of IDF like Dr. Narayan Nampoory, Dr. Amir Ahmed and Dr. Ramesh Pandita.
Dr. Tahseen Khan Vice President of IWA Indian Women Association praised involvement of IDF for health camp, especially ladies health care, with emphasis on domestic workers. Members of K.K.M.A thanked IDF for their support to various Health camps, which comprised more than 1800 Patients which was one of the largest ever organized. Ameer Ahmed, President JMC Alumni Kuwait shared his experiences and expressed his thanks to IDF for their support towards various Health Campaign activities. Mr. Ramji, President Sri Sathya Sai Foundation promised to work towards specialized camps like Geriatric, Pediatric, Women's Health etc. Vice President of KTS Mrs. Priya Ambalavanan praised contribution of IDF towards Children Health Quiz, applauded IDF support to her association as well. Indian Frontliners writer N C. Mohandoss praised IDF management for their charitable work, and requested IDF to provide health care articles to publish in www.indianfrontliners.com. Many other association members also attended this event and expressed their gratitude for the good work done by IDF. Vote of Thanks was given by Dr. Vivek Wani, who thanked all the attendees and promised regular support IDF to Indian community.
