Monday, March 23, 2015

Dr, A. Sampath MP stated that the Power Centers of India are deeply shadowed by widespread corruption. He was addressing the audience in EMS-AKG-Bishop Poulose Mar Poulose commemoration program organized by KALA-Kuwait.

While unveiling the lecture on “Corruption and Indian Politics” Dr. Sampath told misappropriation has grown up to a shameful level and public fund is being openly swindled. Corporates have gained upper hand in strategic policy decisions and administration.

The recent land acquisition amendments are pure move supporting the corporates.

The privatization of civil aviation sector, education and health is clear indication of their hidden agenda. The service sector fund allocations get diverted to other areas smashing the dreams of downtrodden. The recent shift of power from Congress to BJP has not only curtailed corruption but stimulate religious disturbances. He also stated that Government is highly irresponsible toward the problems of the NRIs, who earn foreign exchange to India.

The Government doesn’t bother to maintain proper statistics or do not have any program for their rehabilitation on their return to the motherland, especially for those from the Middle East regions. He concluded with the appeal to the public to be vigilant, attentive and responsive against corruption.
