ICSK Khaitan Conducts Career Fair ‘Krossroads’

The Indian Community School Kuwait , Khaitan, proudly showcased ‘KROSSROADS’ in which different career options related to the fields of Commerce, Humanities and Science were put up by the students of class IX. The students gave vivid insight about some of latest trending fields of higher education like nuclear medicine, petroleum and chemical engineering, event management, fashion designing, applied economics, hospitality and tourism management.
The visitors to these stalls were highly appreciative of the hard work put in. They also appreciated the confidence of the students while imparting information related to the scope, career prospects, famous Universities in India and abroad which offer these courses.
The students presented PowerPoint presentations explaining each career option. The brochures compiled by the students provided concise information about the subject and a link of an email-id for further interaction as the student will act as resource persons for their topics.
The Principal, staff and students were indeed blessed and overjoyed with the presence of Hon. Vice-Chairman to the Board of Trustees Mr. Bobby Mathew, Hon. Secretary Mr. Vijay Karayil, Hon. Jt. Secretary Dr. Kamlesh Kumari, Parent Representative to the ICSK Board Dr. Vardana Rajesh, Principal in-charge of ICSK Junior Mrs. Shirley Dennis and ICSK Khaitan PAC members. Many parents spent time to go to all the nine stalls and enhance their understanding about the various avenues that are available for their child. Thus, KROSSROADS was an eye opener for many who attended it.
