Emerging Teams Cup – 2015 Cricket Tournament launched

The Emerging Teams Cup – 2015 was launched at the Salmiya Indian Model School (SIMS) on 4th March 2015, becoming the first heavy tennis ball cricket tournament being organized by the Kuwait Indian Tennis Cricket Association (KITCA), an association consisting of Kuwait’s aspiring heavy tennis ball cricket playing teams.

Gracing the launch ceremony were Mr. Ramdas Nair - Head of Retails Sales – Bahrain Exchange Co. (BEC) and Ms. Anjali Raj – Talent Management Specialist – City Group Co.



BEC are the TITLE & Co. sponsors while City Group is the Proud Sponsor of this tournament. Pro Sports are the Sports Partners for KITCA.

The tournament consisting of 16 of Kuwait’s best heavy tennis ball cricket teams will be played at KAABD and KHAITHAN on a league-cum-knockout basis with various awards & trophies being handed out including KD 444/- plus trophy for Winners; KD. 222/- plus trophy for Runners-up; and KD. 111/- plus trophy for the Third place achievers as well as individual Man-of-the-Match plus Player of the Tournament awards.
