Manpower Public Authority started cancelling 8,000 absconding reports

Manpower Public Authority Manager started cancelling 8,000 absconding reports filed by sponsors who did not follow up with the needed legal procedures. According to report, Director of Public Authority for Manpower Jamal Al-Dosari had already announced intentions to cancel such allegations unless sponsors followed up with them within 15 days after filing complaints at the Ministry of Interior (MoI). Those measures had been devised to protect labourers from being victims of vexatious absconding reports, especially since only 2,000 out of a total of 10,000 reports had been found true, local reports says.
