Kuwaiti gets 10 years for ‘killing’ his maid

The Criminal Court sentenced a Kuwaiti man to 10 years in jail with hard labor and immediate execution for allegedly killing his Asian housemaid at South Surra, reports local daily Arab Times. The prosecution officer disclosed that the man and his wife at various instances maltreated, physically abused and wounded the maid with an excuse that she was lazy, which led to her ultimate death. The couple later dumped her remains in a desert region, while the husband registered absconding case against her. The couple stood trial for maltreating the woman to death. n me
