Indian Embassy improves assistance to distressed Indians

Indian Embassy in Kuwait taken various measures to improves its service towards the distressed Indians coming to the Embassy. On a daily basis, some highly distressed Indian nationals visits the Embassy for various reasons. Many of them are either runaway housemaids or male domestic workers/workers at farms who have escaped ill-treatment and torture meted out to them by their sponsors in Kuwait. According to a statement issued by the Embassy, many of them often seek shelter in Embassy and help in repatriation.

According to Embassy, these distressed Indian nationals are often found hungry and dehydrated. As an immediate welfare measure from the Government of India, the Embassy will provide all of them light snacks and soft drink free-of-cost while attending to their personal problems.
