ICSK Khaitan Bids Adieu to Class X

The Indian Community School Kuwait, Khaitan organized Class X farewell ‘Shubheccha Samaroh’ on 14th February, 2015. It was a silver lined cloudy day for ICSK Khaitan as it bid adieu to class X students with synchronized feelings of happiness and sadness. It was painful as well as matter of pride for ICSK since its young learners go out with flying colors after accomplishing eventful 12 years of school life. The Principal Mr. K. G. Shirsath welcomed the gathering. The solemn event was graced with the presence of the Chief Guest - Chairman of Jabriya Indian School Mr. M. Mathew, Honorary Secretary to BOT Mr. Vijay Karayil, Honorary member Mr. Anant Kapadia, Honorary parent representative to the BOT Dr. Vardhana Rajesh, members of the Parent Advisory Council and parents.

Mr. Mathew motivated and inspired the students through his speech. He advised the students to wade confidently through the new waters which they would face in the imminent future. In his Presidential address, Mr. Vijay Karayil emphasized the vital role of parents to share and care for their children throughout studies as parents mainly leave them to tuitions in higher classes.

In his reminiscences of the school, Master Mohammed Basil of class X recalled his sweet memories associated with school life and implored the blessings and forgiveness of the teachers. Mrs. Beena Jerome, Senior teacher of ICSK, delivered a heartfelt speech at the farewell. The programme was tightly packed with various cultural events making the day a memorable one. The corridor of blessings was formed by the distinguished guests, teachers and parents and the students passed through it to receive soulful blessings. The cloud of sadness rained heavily as showers of blessings fell on students and they embarked on their new journey to unexplored new lands. Dr. Mary Isaac, the Vice Principal, proposed the vote of thanks in culmination of this august occasion.
