Union Christian College Aluva Alumni Kuwait (UCCAAK) celebrated 5th anniversary on Friday 6th February 2015 at Sangeetha Auditorium,Mangaf.

The meeting started with a prayer song by at 7.00 pm.The public meeting was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Narayan Nampoori,the founder President and Adviser of Indian Doctors Forum,by lighting the traditional lamp,followed by cake cutting ceremony by our senior most member of UC College Alumni in Kuwait, Mrs.Mary Mathews. A Souvenir was released to mark the 5th Anniversary celebrations by our special guest Mrs. Shyamala Divakaran, the Principal of Gulf Indian school who is also an old student of UC College by receiving the the first copy from Souvenir Convener Mr.Bobby Paul. and presenting to Mr.Jimmy Paul the treasurer of UC college Aluva Alumni.Kuwait. The anniversary meeting was graced and felicitated by Dr.Sara Mathews, Senior most student of U C College who served Kuwait for long years; Mr.M.Mathews,the Industrialist,Entrepreneur and Managing Director of Safeena Trading & Contracting Company ,Mrs. Shyamala Divakaran and Mrs. Molly Mathews.



Mrs.Dr. Sunila Kurien , Joint Secretary welcomed the gathering, President,Mr. Cyriac George gave presidential speech. Mr. Balakrishnan Mallya,General secretary presented the annual report.The meeting was well anchored by Miss Nikhila Thomas .The program was well organised by the event co-coordinator Mr.Bobby Paul.Vice President Mr. Thomas Chacko,Treasurer Mr.Jimmy Paul, Mr. Yesudas Xavier ,Mr. Asif Pedikat , Mr.Job Antony and Mr. Bipin Madhavan served as subcommittee conveners.



Cultural programs by children of UC College Alumni ,the performance of singers by Gulf Beats Orchestra and other artist with their budding talents gave added color and attraction to the event.

A delicious dinner was served and Mr. Kochumon Francis, Program Convener, proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting came to a close by 10.00 p.m.
