Gift Of Life

Life is full of dreams. It is said follow your heart but take your brain with you. In today’s lifestyle heart and brain can’t go together. I want to do something for my country, for the whole world. I want to be different from the others. I want to spread the message of life after death. Strange isn’t it. You must be wondering what i am speaking about? I must be out of my minds. You too can be a part of my achievement; i am talking about organ donation. I recently got to attend a seminar about this and was forced to think about it.

We can definitely donate our organs and gift someone a life. Everybody thinks about himself only. I am looking forward to a future where diseases are less, people are educated and where lifespan will be increased.
It is said religion has boundaries but humanity has no boundaries.

I want to spread the message of love, service, and humanity.

Every day you get to hear about terrorist attacks and loss of life, it is all because of lack of humanity. In 2050, i may not be young but if i am successful in sowing the seeds of love and humanity, i will see a better world, filled with love for each other and people living with harmony and if you have donated your organs at the time of your death you too will remain as a part of this world irrespective of your physical presence, as organ donation makes you eternal.

Our ancestors taught us love and shared stories of their wonderful time with us. In olden days religion was a barrier but today we no longer live with religious boundaries. We have accepted each other’s culture and background and my country india is a great example for this as it has people of many religions living together in harmony. We have the united nations to maintain peace in this world. These bonds can be made stronger by helping each other and by sharing each other’s needs.

A healthy nation is a strong nation.

You must have read about the story of an ugly mother who was hated by her son due to her appearance as she had only one eye. Towards the end of the story the boy realizes that his mother had donated her eye to her own son that is to him, who had lost his eye in an accident and she did this because she did not want her son to undergo the same feeling of shame and agony what she was going through. To save him from being hated or called ugly.

Only a mother can do this for her child. I want this motherly feeling to be developed in every individual, then there will be no hatred and war, only love will exist.

Stories are plenty, experiences are many, it is we who have to change our way of thinking.

This story also reminds me of chankya’s statement
The world’s biggest power is the youth and woman’s beauty.

In this story mother sacrifices her beauty for her son’s youth i.e. future.

It is also rightly said a father loves his child but a mother understands her child.

To support my perspective i am also attaching a logo designed by me to attract all the commonwealth countries into this great cause. Hope my perspective can light a flame which will spread across all the countries.

I believe in what gandhiji said “be the change, what you want to see”.

A small lamp can light millions of other lamps. A small initiative by me can change an eye filled with tear into a heart filled with joy.

You must have already read about a heart being air lifted from one place to another to save a life and many more stories on organ donation. Even the movies have started showing the importance of organ donation.

Before Concluding This Beautiful Message, I Would Like To Mention About Fr. Davis Chiramel, Chairman Kidney Federation Of India, Who Has Taken Up This Beautiful Cause And Was Here In Kuwait As The Chief Guest For The 17th Annual day celebration of st.berchmans college alumni association. I also had the honour of receiving my extempore competition prize from him.

Fr. Davis chiramel went one step ahead of just preaching love... He acted it… he gave one out of the two kidneys he had… to a complete stranger.

So go ahead and make yourself eternal.
gift a life to someone.
