Ministry considering deporting expats committing two severe traffic violations

The Interior Minister’s assistant undersecretary for traffic affairs Maj Gen Abdullah Al-Muhanna said that the ministry will take stricter measures over traffic violations, reports Kuwait times daily.

According to daily, Muhanna said that in addition to deporting expats driving without licenses, the ministry is also considering deporting expats committing two ‘severe’ traffic violations or offenses. “This decision is not meant to retaliate against expats. It is meant to regulate traffic and save the lives of motorists,” he remarked.
