United Friends Cultural Association organized Winter Fest – 2014

UFCA (United Friends Cultural Association), Kuwait has been serving the community since 2009. As a part of its Cultural activities, UFCA staged “Winter Fest – 2014, on the evening of Friday, December 05, 2014, at the Gulf Indian School Auditorium, Fahaheel from 04.00 PM to 10.30 PM in association with Aradana Jewelers and Sunrise Restaurant, Kuwait. The event was incredibly led, performed and directed solely by the Women’s Forum of the Association, festooned with numerous entertainment packages, which were outstanding enough to feast the eyes upon.

The function was inaugurated by the chief Guest of the event Mrs. Shyamala Divakaran the Principal of Gulf Indian School, Fahaheel along with Mr. Elyas Ali, Operation Manager from Almeer Technical Services Company by lighting the Traditional Lamp. Women’s Forum President Mrs. Maria Michael presided over the function and Secretary Mrs. Divya Binul Kummar. Mrs. Rafia Anas delivered Felicitation Speech. The Advisory Board Member of UFCA Mr. K N Subramanian introduced the new Scheme of Charity, giving monetary assistance towards the education of the meritorious children of the less salaried members of the Association. Presence of eminent personalities from various sectors graced the function.

The Women’s Forum of UFCA deserves the entire appreciation of this Event. It entertained the viewers with variety of colorful stage presentations. Various dance items, performed by teens and kids received immense admiration from one and all. The talented ‘Musiq Beats Kuwait’ truly conquered the heart of the audience. Thundering applause and Roaring broke from the viewer’s side in the packed auditorium when senior dancers started to unleash a breathtaking stage performance. Choreographers of the Event Mr. Rajesh Cochin and Mr. Lalson Pereira were honored with mementos for their awesome and innovative stewardship. Mr. Jayan Narayanan yet again proved his sense of creativity in Cosmetology & costuming. Credit goes to Mr. K Balan for costume stitching and to Mr. Abbas for Stage Properties. Stage beautification was safe in the hands of Mr. Anil Zacharia. Mrs. Ambili Dili did her role effectively as Program Coordinator from beginning to end.

Best performers were felicitated with Mementoes and Certificates by the President Mr. Salim R and Advisory Board Member of UFCA Mr. K. Sajeevan.

The event was in fact recharged the nostalgic memories of the spectators and made them cheerful. The Event was concluded with Buffet Dinner served. Miss Deepika Dili made her debut as Co-Anchor on stage with Mr. Rajesh and she shone.

Advisory Board Member of UFCA Mr. V Dili offered his sincere gratitude to all members of UFCA and especially the members behind the screen for their commendable hard work and efforts for making the mega event a reality.
