Indian Central School Commemorated the Pink Tuesday

Indian Central School conducted the Breast Cancer Awareness program for the school as part of the Social Responsibility Event where the month of October is dedicated towards health.
ICS once again break its own record where the 5000 and more students had the Pink Ribbon pinned on their uniform while 1400 students from the Secondary grades joined the Pink Ribbon formation, wearing their pink attire. The school is happy to announce that it is the only school in the Middle East in such an event to portray for the awareness of Breast Cancer.
A special assembly was conducted as a part of the Awareness Campaign against Breast Cancer. Principal Mrs. Shanta Maria James, created an opportunity to 5000 and more students,300 teachers to participate for this noble cause. Teachers and staffs of the school were given a free medical checkup with a specialist guest Dr.Susovana Sujit Nair, Oncologist, Kuwait Cancer Control Centre, as a part of “Prevention is better than cure” concept related to Breast Cancer.
The Principal thanks all the teachers and students who participated for this event to become a memorable day in the pages of Indian Central School History. Mr. Antony Noel Nazareth, the Activity Coordinator supervised and promoted the event to the fulfillment of its objective.
