Friends of Kannur organized Raghavan Master remembrance functions

Friends of Kannur Expatriate association, FOKE, organized remembrance function on the first death anniversary of Master of Malabar's own folk rhythms Raghavan Master on Sunday 19th October 2013 at Chachoos Hall, Abbasiya.
FOKE President Omanakuttan presided the function in which FOKE General Secretary Shymesh welcomed the audience. Prominent members from teh community including Sam Painumood, Hamsa Payyanur, Thomas Mathew Kadavil, Vibheesh Thikody, FOKE Ladies wing chairperson Bindu Rajeev etc spoke on the occasion. FOKE Secretary Rajesh proposed vote of thanks.
Well know singers from Kuwait paid their tribute to their master by singing the evergreen melodies composed by Raghavan Master. Some of his celebrated songs ‘Engane Nee Marakkum,’ ‘Kuyilinethedi’, ‘Kayalarikathu valayerinjappol’ etc were received by the audience with great applause. div>
