IndiansinKuwait.com contributed to Prime Ministers relief fund

In a noble gesture, IndiansinKuwait.com handed over a cheque of Rupess two lakh (200,000) to the Prime Ministers national relief fund. The cheque was handed over to Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sunil Jain during the Diwali Mela organised by Indiansinkuwait.com at Salmiya Indian Model School last Friday which would be forwarded to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF).

The amount was contributed by IndiansinKuwait.com, Indian Women in Kuwait IWIK and Golden Era Club. Ambassador expressed his happiness over the noble gesture by IIK at the time of Diwali celebration.

The leading community web portal, IndiansinKuwait.com came in support of the people affected by the devastating flood in Jammu Kashmir and Assam and extended this monetary aid towards relief and recovery efforts in flood-ravaged Indian state. The contribution is aimed at providing relief and rehabilitation for affected people and reconstruction of areas devastated by the floods and landslides that hit some parts of Indian recently.

More than 5000 crowd gathered at the IIK Diwali Mela, which marked one of its kind celebration among the Indian community in Kuwait.
