As the subject line reads, we are blessed to have a darshan of Lord Venkateshwara here and one will feel that a replica of the deity back home has arrived in Kuwait. It is an experience to be felt rather than shared and such is the aura created by Shri. Uma Maheshwaran in his Navarathri Golu this time. A theme is envisioned every year and implemented to fulfillment and this year to mark the 10th year of Navarathri celebrations Shri.Lord Venkateshwara is born. What strikes me the most is the visualisation and meticulous efforts put in to include every minute aspect in the making of Lord Narayana is quite exceptional and matchless.

From concept to reality...

Plan to make Lord Balaji's model was conceived a year ago and the various items and materials necessary were purchased over a period of time; A formal metallic structure was constructed and the various parts were made using Thermocol; Assembly was made in accordance with the dimensions of the Lord's face; Face was painted to get the actual feel of the Lord and various parts are decorated to perfection is another characteristic to be noticed; One gets a feeling of having gone to Tirupati to seek his blessings is not an exaggeration.

It's only apt to say that Mrs.Pavithra Umamaheshwaran has provided immense support and inspiration and shared valuable inputs for the proposal to materialise from conception to fruition. Their Children's forbearance must be appreciated as several sleepless nights were spent before the run-up to Navarathri Golu.

While many more lines can be added, all facets of Golu has been followed as per tradition.

It's only fitting to conclude that may Lord Venkateshwara shower his blessings for happiness, prosperity and good health to all...
