Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC)’s board of directors discussed an offer made by Boeing to sell it 10 new B777 planes set to be delivered by 2016 during a meeting on Monday, reported Al Qabas daily.

According to daily, KAC’s next step would be to request international law firms regarding the contract as it did previously with the Airbus deal. This facilitates signing an initial memo of understanding with Boeing before negotiating to get the best prices before sealing the deal.

The board was also briefed on KAC executive department’s preparations to receive the first of the rented Airbus planes by December, including a ceremony to mark the occasion apart from other marketing plans.
