'In Case of Emergency' workshop held for Indian Women in Kuwait

In a one of its kind program in Kuwait, Indian Women In Kuwait (IWIK) in association with Indian Embassy in Kuwait, for the first time held an exclusive workshop for the Indian women on how to face the emergency situations in life. In an enriching workshop, Safety & Security professional Mr Anil Lobo presented various emergencies in life and how to face it.

HE Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India to Kuwait and First lady Dr Gargi Jain inaugurated the function. Ambassador appreciated the organizers for organizing such a useful program for today’s women. The event was held at Indian Embassy Auditorium on Thursday, 11th September 2014 evening.



Women all over the world and particularly expatriate women often find themselves in situations with which they are ill-equipped to deal with. Starting from House emergencies such as burning, fractures etc and various common medical emergencies, Mr Anil Lobo equipped the audience. He also pointed out on local emergencies such as walking alone on the road, driving alone, going in Taxies etc. He begins the workshop by educating the importance of identifying our house location in Kuwait.

Large number of women crowd attended the workshop and actively participated in the interactive session.

The Indian Women In Kuwait- IWIK, under the aegis of Indians in Kuwait (IIK) till date, has successfully organized a series of offline events such as the Rangoli Competition, X-Mas Tree Contest, Live cookery show by Tarla Dalal, Kuwait Darshan , Blood Donation Camp and a range of other competitions and programs.
