'In Case of Emergency' workshop for Indian Women in Kuwait

Indian Women In Kuwait (IWIK) in association with Indian Embassy in Kuwait is organizing an exclusive workshop for Indian women on how to face the emergency situations in life. The work shop titled 'ICE- In Case of Emergency’ is exclusively for the women community and will be held on Thursday, 11th September 2014 from 6:30 PM at Indian Embassy Auditorium.

Women all over the world and particularly expatriate women often find themselves in situations with which they are ill-equipped to deal with. Such situations could be Road Accidents, Fire, Theft, Eve-teasing, Death of a loved one, or any other threat to their dignity or life. The Workshop - ICE (In Case of Emergency) will equip them with the necessary information and capability to respond to emergency situations effectively. Information pertaining to where should one go and whom to approach and what procedures and precautions to be aware of, especially in Kuwait etc, will be provided.

This workshop will be conducted by Mr Anil Lobo, who is working in the Safety & Security field in Kuwait for over 20 years. The workshop will include a brief presentation on What to do In Case of Emergency which shall cover General Safety Awareness for Expatriate Families living in Kuwait, How to Handle Medical Emergencies, and Tips on What to Do In Case of Emergency (ICE), especially when you are living in Kuwait as an expatriate.

Workshop will be followed with Open discussion with the specialists.

The Indian Women In Kuwait- IWIK, under the aegis of Indians in Kuwait (IIK) till date, has successfully organized a series of offline events such as the Rangoli Competition, X-Mas Tree Contest, Live cookery show by Tarla Dalal, Kuwait Darshan , Blood Donation Camp and a range of other competitions and programs.

Entry to this exclusive workshop is totally free (Subject to prior registration). This workshop is only for women above the age of 18 and no children are allowed.
