Kabd fighting: 11 Indians arrested

11 Indians and 14 Egyptians were arrested from the Camel Market in Kabd after a fight between the two groups resulted in the death of one Egyptian.

According to reports around 30 people were injured in the brawl and are admitted in Jahra, Sabah and Farwaniya hospitals.

According to eyewitness the fight started between an Indian and an Egyptian worker at the on Wednesday, 27th at the camp site of Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Company in Kabad. Later it was blown out of proportion and around 100s of Indian workers and Egyptian workers join the fight and lasted for about 2 hours.

Authorities revealed that the ministry of interior will deport some of those involved in the fight and the suspected killer will be referred to public prosecution. Authorities also warned the expatriates against gathering in front of their embassies or any other area because it is against the law.
