BAPS – Kuwait Chapter celebrated “Janmastami”

BAPS – Kuwait Chapter celebrated “Janmastami” - Birthday of Lord Krishna on 17th August 2014 at the Indian Embassy Auditorium in Kuwait, with lots of fun-fare and devotion. Programme started with an introduction of the organisation, its global activities and brief about Guru Shree Pramukh Swami Maharaj, followed by prayers for world peace and devotional songs. The highlight of the programme was a skit cum dance drama "Krishna Leela" based on the life and work of Lord Krishna. The stellar cast of BAPS, Kuwait - Youth wing performed the act to the cinematic perfections and got accolades from the jam packed audience of more than 450 guests.

Guest of Honour, Shri Subhashish Goldar, DCM Indian Embassy – Kuwait was full of praise for the troupe of more than 40 artists. Many prominent members of Indian community, senior staff of the Embassy, and devotees enjoyed the evening event with repeated clapping and appreciation.
