ALMASS Kuwait Conducted Blood Donation Camp "Give Blood Save Life"

The gift of blood is considered as the gift of life. It is rightly said that money can buy anything but it cannot buy ‘LIFE’. Realizing this great philosophical thought, Alumni associations of St Stephen’s college Uzhavoor (Almass, Kuwait) joined hands and spent the Friday morning in the united indian school auditorium, Abbassiya for donating generously the ‘liquid love’ which was collected by the Kuwait Blood Bank by a team of cheerful staff, headed by Dr. Muhammad Jaberand Jomon Thomas Thundathil.

The camp was well organized by the Conveners Mr Shinoy Chakittamakkil, Mr TijiElavumkal, Renice Monippally & Siby Vazhakattu and witnessed active participation ofmore than 100 members and friends who volunteered to donate blood for this noble cause.

With the overwhelming response from volunteers the camp started at 9.00 AM and went up to 1 PM in the afternoon. Refreshments were provided to the donors after donating blood. Almass Kuwait would like to thank Mr. Mejith for his coordination with the Blood Bank officials.

The efforts of Almass Kuwait were appreciated by Central Blood Bank for taking such initiative and extending invaluable service towards humanity.
