American Society of Safety Engineers organized 191st technical meet

American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Kuwait Chapter as a part of continuous efforts in its professional journey, organized its 191st technical meet and 1st in the term 2014-15, on 2nd August 2014 at Best Western Hotel, Kuwait titled “Incident/Accident Analysis, Corrective and preventive Action”
Mr. Abhishek Acharya, Actg Head of Technical Events committee of ASSE Kuwait Chapter welcomed the participants. He introduced the speaker of the session Mr. Raj Kumar Yadav.
Mr. Mohd. Riaz Shareef, President , ASSE , Kuwait Chapter briefed about the significance of the technical meet and the importance of conducting these meets monthly for the benefit of all. He also encouraged the participants to take active part in the meet.
The speaker for this technical meet, Mr. Raj Kumar Yadav is a Registered ISO/TS Auditor (ISO/TS 16949:2009) with IATF and Lead Auditor for various ISO standards and OHSAS 18001:2007. With more than 20 years of rich professional experience, he described the topic in detail with real time examples incorporated in power point slides.
The technical session was very much interactive and it was followed by Question & Answer session. More than 50 ASSE Kuwait chapter members participated from various sectors.
As a token of appreciation Executive Committee of ASSE Kuwait Chapter honored the speaker by a memento which was presented by Mr. Mohd. Riaz Shareef.
The meet concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Mohd. Riaz Shareef and was followed by High Tea sponsored by ASSE – Kuwait Chapter.
