Tape ball Cricket tournament to be played on 14th and 15th August

Teams Association of Cricket in Kuwait conducted the 2013 & 2014 cricket season with great panache as several breathtaking innovations and novelties were introduced which completely revamped and modernized the way cricket is played in Kuwait. From the grand opening ceremony of its entertainment city cricket ground in Doha on the 15th of Nov 2013 in the name of four nations festival, to domestic T-20 tournaments of the leading corporate giants in Kuwait, to the historical trip to Dubai to participate in the biggest domestic tournament in the GCC known as the desert premier league (DPL), to the recently concluded T-10 Ramadan league, TACK has changed the landscape of cricket in Kuwait and shown the way for others to follow as the leading and the most quality and quantity oriented domestic cricket body in Kuwait with a massive international influence. Carrying forward the legacy of top quality cricket and living up to its reputation of being torch-bearers of innovation over the past 5 years, TACK is once again bringing a unique cricket festival for the lovers of the game in Kuwait; Caesars Indo-PAK Independence Day Cup. This is the first time a tape ball tournament is being held on such a mammoth scale with international standard facilities at TACK Entertainment City Cricket Ground in Doha such as the lush green outfield and international standard floodlights.



The tournament will be played on the Independence Day of Pakistan and India, 14th and 15th of August respectively as TACK has always prided itself in being a multicultural organization that aims to cater to maximum segments of society be it local or expat. The Caesars Independence Day Cup will see as many as 24 teams competing across 24 league matches on Thursday (14th Aug) with the quarter finals, semi-finals and finals to be played on Friday (15th August 2014).
