Kuwait Metro rail project finalizes 61 stations

Works for the much awaited Metro Rail project in the country will start by the year 2017, local Arabic daily reported. According to report, Ministry of Communication has finalized the layout of the 61 stations in the Kuwait metro Project. The Metro will be established in three routes.

The first railroad covering 23.7 kilometers will start from Salwa area and pass through 19 stations to end at the station of Kuwait University. Second railroad covering 21 kilometers will start from Hawally and end at Kuwait city, passing through 27 stations. The third line covering 24 kilometers will start from Kuwait Airport and pass through 15 stations to end at Abdullah Al Mubarak area.
