Kuwait thwarted attempt to trade counterfeit money of KD 134,000

The Interior Ministry announced Thursday thwarting an attempt to trade counterfeit amounts of Kuwaiti dinars and US dollars.

A two-member mob was arrested while trying to deal KD 134,000 and USD one million, security media department at the ministry said in a statement. Legal actions are underway, it added.

"The General Directorate of Criminal Investigations will carry on with its extensive campaigns relentlessly in order to prevent crime in all its forms," the statement noted. iv>
