FAIPS Young Excursionists Visit Singapore and Malaysia

FAIPS (DPS) organized an educational trip to Singapore and Malaysia for the students of classes VII to XII. 19 students along with the Vice Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli and HOD of Hindi Mrs. Vani Agarwal landed in Changi International airport, Singapore on 22nd March 2014.



On March 23rd, the young travellers went to the world famous Jurong Bird Park and Butterfly garden. An amazing diversity of species of indigenous birds and beautiful butterflies was a fascinating experience for the students. Visit to the Gardens by the Bay, a very well organized botanical garden gave a wealth of information about varieties of plants around the world. The trip included fun filled times at the Universal Studios and a Night Safari. Transformers, The Mummy, Jurassic Park, Madagascar ride, etc.; in the Universal studios will stay in memory for ever. Night Safari provided loads of information about animals, especially nocturnal animals.



Visit to the awe-inspiring world of life in the ocean at the world’s largest aquarium, S.E.A. Aquarium, gave the students an opportunity to unfold the endless wonders of our marine environment. Song of the Sea at Sentosa Beach was a mesmerizing show with a live cast, dramatic effects and pyrotechnics. Water jets, flame bursts and captivating music made the program one-of-a-kind entertainment for everyone!

On March 25th morning the group transited to Malaysia in a coach and checked in to Hotel IBIS STYLES. After lunch the program was to visit the King’s Palace and Petronas Twin Towers; an architectural marvel and and awesome sight.



On March 26th the young tourists ventured to the BATU caves and had tremendous fun at ‘Genting Highlands’. The journey in the cable car to the Genting Highlands was literally breath taking!



It was a dream come true trip for the students, which will be cherished for ever.
