Samskrita Bharati with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan conducted Spoken Sanskrit Workshop

Spoken Sanskrit workshop conducted by Samskrita Bharati joining hands with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Sanskrit Department concluded with a cultural meeting held on April 5th, Saturday, at Barathiya Vidya Bhavan, Abbasiya. The function was blessed with the presence of eminences from expatriate Indian cross section in Kuwait. The function commenced with prayer song by the camp participants and the students of Abbasiya Baladarsan, Vandemataram by Sri.Mahadevan and an introductory speech by Sri.Biju Raj.

Shri. Shubhasis Goldar, Deputy Chief of Mission, Indian Embassy lit the inaugural traditional lamp at the function chaired by Sri.Ajayakumar (President, Sevadarsan). Samskrita Bharati Kuwait coordinator Shri.P.Gopakumar extended the welcome speech. The workshop experience was shared at the function by the participants of three centers.

Dr. P. Nandakumar (Samskrita Bharathi, India), explained to the crowd the necessity and importance of Sanskrit as a language and its potential for the welfare of the world community. The eminent teachers of the workshop, Dr. P. Nandakumar, Smt. Vandana (Samskrita Bharathi, Kerala), Shri.A.Balaji, (Sanskrit Department Faculty, Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan ) were honoured at the function. Shri. Shubhasis Goldar, Sri. N.K Ramachandra Menon(Chairman, Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan), Sri.Haridas Varrier (AMMA Kuwait), Dr.Ganesh Paritha (Kuwait Odissa Association), Sri.Balsree Bera(Art of Living), and Sri.Nakare Satish Chandra Shettty(Kannada Kootta) were also honored. An informative VCD in Sanskrit was released by Sri. Sunil Menon (HOD, Sanskrit Department, BVB). Shri. Shubhasis Goldar, Sri. Shettty gave away the certificates for the participants. Samskritha Bharati executive member Smt.Maina Sunil delivered the word of gratitude.
