Driver who cancel visa can re-enter only after 2 year. Will lose license if profession changes

General Immigration Department and the General Traffic Department have agreed to prevent a driver who cancels his residency and leaves the country from coming back to the country by the same profession, noting such individuals will only be allowed entry to country after two years, reports Al- Qabas daily quoting a reliable source. According to report the new law disallows a driver from entering Kuwait on a similar visa for 2 years after canceling his original visa and leaving Kuwait.

According to report, this decision applies to ‘Mandoub’ also holding Article 18 visa of the private sector.

The two departments also agreed on a decision to cancel the driving license of a person if he changes his job to a profession that don’t meet the conditions for driving license.
