Kuwait City MarThoma Parish Salmiya Zonal Prayer groups conducted its 7th annual Kudumba Sangamam at Indian Community School, Salmiya. Rev Sam T Koshy (Vicar - Kuwait City MarThoma Parish) gave the presidentialship address. The programme started by the opening prayer of Mr Soman P. Mathai. Parimanam Manoj (General Convener & Programme Conv.) welcomed the guest & members. Rt. Rev. Joseph Mar Barnabas Episcopa inaugurated the function & gave the message.

Choirs of Salmiya Zone, Sevika Sangam, Edavaka Mission, Yuvajana Sakhyam, Young Adults, Sunday School - Sang a Song and different prayer groups of Salmiya performed different programes. Dramma, fusion, skit, dance, solo, mime & group song were also arranged. Different games were also arranged and gifts were presented to the winners. The grand finale was the 1 hour drama named “Ohari”. The play was based on a real-life tragic story of a family that faces the brunt of trading shares in the market and how they struggle to make both ends meet. The play visualized the amazing transformation of the family as it crosses the bridge of adversities with the guiding Hand of God! It caught the attention of all the children and elders.

A wall clock was also distributed for all the attendees as a gift and the Inauguration of wall clock was done by Rt. Rev. Joseph Mar Barnabas Episcopa by giving him the first clock to Mr. Babu Johnson. Around 600 members participated in the get together and had a delicious dinner. Closing prayer was done by Mr. Thomas Varghese. Ms Ansu Joseph & Mrs Mary Thomas compared the program. Mrs. Rachel Oommen conveyed vote of thanks for making the function a great success.
