Three Indians arrested for killing Filipina and setting apartment on fire

Kuwait police arrested three Indians for killing a Filipina and setting fire to her apartment in Farwaniya.

According to reports, police found the civil id of Indian national Ajith Augustine from her apartment after the incident and took him to custody for questioning. Later he admitted the crime and said he had strangled the victim to death with the help of two other accomplices to avoid paying their debts to her. Police arrested his coworkers Rijo Thomas and Thufal for assisting him in the crime. All were working in a bakery in Kuwait. Ajith Augustine hails from Thamarasserry near Kozhikode in Kerala.

The incident happened last week. A Philippine woman was burnt to death at her apartment in Farwaniya. Initial investigation came out that she was burn to death due to the fire in her apartment. Later police begin investigation when forensics report stated she had been killed before the fire broke out.

The arrested Indian admitted that the victim used to lend money in return of monthly interest. It’s reported that Ajith Augustien stands as her agent for dealing with interest money and an argument between them lead to the killing.
