Famous Oncology Physician Dr V P Gangadharan and his wife reputed Oncology Surgeon Dr. K Chithrathara is arriving in Kuwait on 10th January 2014 (Friday) for participating the Mannam Jayanthi celebrations 2014 of Nair Service Society (NSS), Kuwait. They are the chief guests of the programme. Nair Service Society (NSS), Kuwait is one of the largest Socio-Cultural Organizations in Kuwait formed in year 2001 and now has around 4000 Indians as members.
Dr V P Gangadharan MD, MD, DM was the former Head of the Department at Regional Cancer Center – Trivandrum. He is a distinguished Oncologist who combines high professional skill with compassion, and hence is a source of hope for cancer patients generally steeped in despondency. He was primarily responsible for designing and developing the Medical Oncology at Centres like Regional Cancer Center, Trivandrum. He also has undergone training at Royal Massdon Hospital, Sutton – U.K., and George Town Hospital, Washington D.C – U.S.A. Currently, he is the Sr. Consultant & HOD in Medical and Pediatric Oncology Dept in Lake Shore hospital, Ernakulam, Kerala.
Dr. Chithrathara MD, MCH, FAIS, ICRETT Fellow (Oncology), wife of Dr. V P Gangadharan is famous in Surgical Oncology. Dr. Chithrathara is a reputed Cancer Surgeon and a brilliant academician specialized in gynecological, urological, and breast cancer surgeries. She is the first and the only Lady Urologist in Kerala and first Uro-gyneac Oncology Surgeon who started the department at Regional Cancer Center Trivandrum. She was awarded the Fellowship of Assoc of Indian Surgeons (FAIS) in 2012. Currently, she is the Senior Visiting Consultant in Surgical Oncology Dept of Lakeshore hospital.
