Over 200 arrested in security checking in Jleeb Al Shuyoukh

In an intense security check up in Jleeb Al Shuyoukh, under Farwaniya governorate, officials arrested around 200 individuals for violating various residency and labor laws.

The campaign was part of the ongoing tightening of the residency and labor law by the authorities. The campaign started at Tuesday evening in various parts of Abbasiya.

Officials advised all expats to carry their personal identification with them all the time to show at traffic checkpoints or routine police checks around town. They should also carry car documentation papers with them, as well, he cautioned, stressing that anyone who flees from a police checkpoint will be arrested when tracked down eventually.
