MoI warns sponsors of visit visa violators

Interior Ministry Official hailed expatriates who respect residency and visit visa laws, be they family, tourist or commercial ones.

Official explained that the visitors have to leave before the expiry of the visit visa period to avoid residency law violations, for which the immigration department will summon sponsors, question them, make them pay the due fines, deport visitors at their own expense and blacklist them from sponsoring any visitors including first degree family members such as wives, children and parents.

According to Kuwait Times daily, the immigration department was currently reviewing its database to list expatriates sponsoring violating visitors pending summoning them to take the aforementioned legal actions.
