Ministry to target unlicensed nurseries and religious teaching centers

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor plans to soon close down unlicensed nurseries and teaching centers run at night - ventures that are usually run by religious organizations in Kuwait, local daily reported. The step was based on a report which revealed several violations found in these centers.

According to the report, the action came after the ministry was notified by security agencies about investigations which revealed that some of the unlicensed centers were being used to “feed a culture of hate within the society and inculcating intolerance towards others among the children.”
