Thrissur Association of Kuwait (TRASSK) conducted half yearly general body meeting

Thrissur Association of Kuwait (TRASSK) conducted half yearly general body meeting at Salmiya Indian Public school on 27th October 2012 evening 4:30 PM. The meeting started with a prayer followed by welcome speech by Joint secretary Mr. Sudheer Kainikkattil. President Mr. Ajith Menon thanked everyone for the support and dedication towards the association and he also explained the future plans and goals of association as well as the charity works being done by the association for the common people. TRASSK General Secretary Mr.Biju Kadavi presented the detailed functioning report for the last six months. Vanitha Vedi report was presented by Vanithavedi General Secretary Mrs. Preetha Manikandan and Finance report was presented by Treasurer Mr. Jeejo C Sunny. All the reports were well defined and approval obtained from all of its members. Members raised new suggestions and all their queries were replied by President Mr.Ajith Menon through an open discussion forum. Felicitation speeches were given by Vanithavedi President Mrs. Kochurani Vincent and Kalikkalam President Master Rahul Rajendran. The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks by Joint Treasurer Mr. Sanoj Sahadevan.

Treasurer Jeejo C Sunny, who is leaving Kuwait for good has been presented with memento and the General body unanimously elected Mr. Sojan Neelankavail as the new Treasurer and Mr. Joy Tolath as the Joint Secretary. The Kalolsavam 2012 winner’s prizes were distributed in the same venue after meeting. More than 500 members attended the meeting and the function ended by 10pm. Children of Kalikkalam conducted an exhibition of Science, Arts & Craft on the same day added extra colour to the General body meeting.
