ICSK Celebrated its 37th Annual Sports Meet

9.12.11 a friday morning, ICSK Celebrates its memorable day, ”the 37th annual sports meet” at the Kheifan stadium, Kuwait. All the four branches of ICSK- Junior, Senior, Amman and Khaitan release various talents, displays, live sports competitions and more interesting events . We unswervingly welcomed the honorable Chief Guest, Mr. Sathish Mehta, Ambassador Of India, to Kuwait.
The Sports day was commenced by the young talented singers of junior branch, singing the Kuwait National Anthem and Indian National Anthem, in the choir.
Next, Senior Senate Members and the Co-Senate With the school students represent the school by the display of March-Past of the four houses –Shanti, Sahyog, Santhosh and seva. The Sports champions- Abigail(senior),Shalom(senior), etc.- of ICSK glide with the OLYMPIC-FLAME. It was also noted that the senior branch had won the clusters competed by the inter-branch events.Followed by them was the Band display by the girls of senior branch leaded by Pavithra kumar of 9th standard.
The next Segment of the day’s show was a spectacular P.T Display by the Childrens of Khaitan branch. It was immense excitement watching it.
And then went on the dance show of the juniors showing a innovative concept, The Sunshine And Sunset. Raajam Ma’am –Head of the Sports Faculty -was the incharge for this display and it was indeed a great pleasure watching the show.
Headed by this, there was a short live sports event of running race 100m, 200m, 4*100m, hurdles and relay races. There were many winners from all branches rejoicing themselves whole-heartedly.
Followed by the above was an aerobic presentation of the ‘Importance Of Yoga’,Amman School. It was definitely a delightful experience viewing the same
The Next Sector of the Day’s programme was an astounding pageant by the girls and boys of the senior branch signifying the “Unity Of Diversities”. They charmed the gathering with fascinating dance steps to the rhythm of Jai-Ho and Fayakhum by wearing the costumes of different states. I, Pooja Gopikrishnan studying in 8th std., represented the state of Kashmir.
Towards the termination, the ICSK Champions for a Decade disclose the Golden Rolling Trophy.
