Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Issac Mor Osthatheos arrives in Kuwait on Episcopal Visit

His Grace Mor Osthatheos was accorded a very warm welcome at Kuwait International Airport on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, by the Vicars of St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church (Valiya Pally) and St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Church, Rev. Fr. Sajan T. John and Rev. Fr. Biju Kavatt, respectively, Managing Committee members and a number of faithful from both the parishes. Mor Osthatheos is on his first apostolic visit to Kuwait after assuming charges as Patriarchal Vicar for the Syrian Orthodox Jacobite Churches in Kuwait, at the invitation of St. George Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church. Mor Osthatheos will be attending the Harvest Festival celebrations of St. George Church, which will be held at Integrated Indian School on Friday, October 28, 2011.
