Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA), Kuwait, one of the biggest and oldest Indian associations in Kuwait duly registered with the Embassy of India, since 1995, now in its 28th year of service, serving the most needy people at large irrespective of caste, color, creed etc. arranged 19th year of Blood Donation Camp honoring the auspicious occasions of Kuwait's 63rd National Day and 33rd Liberation Day on Sunday, the 25th February 2024 from 08.30 a.m. till 01.30 p.m. at Central Blood Bank in Jabriya.
Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) and its members, especially its Co-ordination Council under the guidance of its newly elected Executive body, dedicated themselves volunteering Camp activities and most notably, members of other brotherly Associations extended their support with enthusiasm honoring the occasions.
The donors started donating blood since 08:30 a.m. The official inauguration program commenced at 10:30 a.m. Peruvalanallur, Dr. A. Hidayathullah, former Vice-President, initiated the program and staged the maestro in administering the whole ceremony. At the outset, the holy verses well recited by Moulvi Mohamed Ali Rashadi.
Pullambadi, Bro. Abdul Kareem, Executive Coordinator, welcomed all guests, blood donors, members and others and Presidential address read by Trichy, Bro. Sirajudeen, Secretary-General, wherein he spoke briefly highlighting TMCA's innumerable activities with his high vision of taking TMCA to the forefront and as a good model.
Chief guest addresses delivered by State President of Manithaneya Jananayaga Katchi (MJK) who visited Kuwait to participate in grand conference arranged by Humanitarian Cultural Association, Bro. Tamimun Ansari, former Member of Tamilnadu State Legislative Assembly (Nagapattinam constituency), Bro. Siddeeque Valiyakath, former President of Federation of Indian Muslim Associations (FIMA), Dr. Amir Ahamed, former President of Indian Doctors Forum (IDF).
A special memonto has been presented to Blood Bank Administration by all our Guests in the presence of TMCA Executive committee as a token of Thanks and Appreciation, on behalf of TMCA for providing an opportunity to be of service here on this day. TMCA distributed special gifts to all Donors appreciating their gesture. Around 70 donors turned-out to make it as a remarkable one donating blood expressing their humanitarian spirit. One of our outstanding performer, TMCA Life Member, Tanjore Syed Akbar is honoured with a special memento for his 40 years of social services in Kuwait who is leaving Kuwait for good shortly.
The whole event is covered by Kuwait Television at the behest of Kuwait Ministry of Information on the eve of State of Kuwait National Day celebrations and telecasted later on that day.
Distribution of special pack of snacks to Donors was sponsored by Bro. Yousuf Maideen (former Coordinator) of M/s. Top Traders alongside contribution from TMCA Executive Committee members including Lunch pack.
Finally vote of thanks was delivered by Erumapatti, Bro. Khaleel Rahman, Joint Secretary of TMCA. TMCA conveyed its thanks to all sponsors for their notable contribution and a Certificate of Appreciation had been presented to all Donors acknowledging their participation and support to TMCA's noble cause.
