played each other’s once and the top 2 qualified for Semi Final and 3rd to 6th will play Eliminators, The Tamil Thalaivas emerged victorious, etching their name in history as the Back to Back champions Tittles. The journey of the team from adversity to triumph showcased their dedication, teamwork.

The Tamil Thalaivas began their journey in the MPL Season 2 also same like 1st season with mixed results. Players were encouraged to give their best, once again the Key players stepped up, delivered stellar performances with both bat and ball. consistently posting competitive totals. The bowlers, on the other hand, showed remarkable discipline and precision, defending modest totals with fiery spells and intelligent variations.

Tamil Thalaivas Road to Final

In the Eliminator, the Thalaivas faced off against the table 4th place Team Mumbai Indians, Tamil Thalaivas asked to bat first and scored 161/4 in 16 overs and won the match by 19 Runs (Manaf scored 62*(24) and Raja scored 42*(35) and took 3 wickets got Man of the Match. Mumbai Indians got All out for 142, Rafiq scored 45(25).

In the Semi Final, the Thalaivas faced off against the table 1st place Team Kings X1 Riggai, Tamil Thalaivas asked to bat first and scored 138/9 in 16 overs and won the match by 17 Runs (Milhan scored 24(10) and Raja scored 35*(26) Depak took 4 Wickets & Srikanth scored 21(13) and took 3 wickets got Man of the Match. Kings X1 Riggai got All out for 121, Ijo Jacob scored 31(25) and Ashik 30(17).

CSK Road to Final

In the Eliminator, the CSK faced off against the table 6th place Team Frineds X1, CSK won the toss and choose bowling first, Friends X1 scored 143/5 in 16 overs Razzaq scored 42(35) and CSK Chased the target in 15th over and won the match by 5 Wickets (Siva scored 45(34) and got Man of the Match.

In the Semi Final, the CSK faced off against the table 2nd place Team Wave Boys, Wave won the toss elected to bat first and got all out for 105 in 16 overs Akbar scored 24(16), CSK Chased the target in 16th over and won the match by 2 Wickets (Ashraf took 4 wickets, Imran Khan scored 48(36) and got Man of the Match.

The Final Showdown

In the Final Between Tamil Thalaivas vs CSK (the team won 8 matches continuedly including semi) in the league stage CSK beaten Tamil Thalaivas, so this time Thalaivas got the opportunity to return back to CSk and they had done it very comfortably and clinch the Champion’s Tittle Back to Back.

Tamil Thalaivas lost early wickets in 7 overs 40 for 4 from their Vignesh 40(29) & Saifulla khan 23(14) and Shiva 13(5) helped for posting a good total of 126 Runs in 16 overs.

Chasing 127 Chennai Super Kings lost the wickets regularly and struggle to get runs because of the attacking bowling fielding by Tamil Thalaivas, finally CSK got all out for 74 in 13th over Deepak Bhatia took 4 wickets and won the Man of the match & Srikanth took 3 Wickets and Tamil Thalaivas won the match by 52 Runs
