You all know about this in your daily lives, right? So, let us talk about favoritism. Favoritism means the practice of giving unfair treatment to one of them of a group comparing to others. It happens everywhere! Let me share you a few examples of it.
1)Your brother got straight A’s in his exams and your parents treat him comparing to you.
2)Your classmate is a teacher’s pet comparing to the whole class and he is famous in your school.
The first example that you see is called parental favoritism. It’s when your parents are praising one child compared to other siblings. The second one relates to favoritism with teachers. This may lead the child to some loneliness, behavior problems, depression, and lack of self-esteem.
No one in any of these practices should do this in your daily life. Let’s conclude that we should end favoritism by treating each other fairly. Your parents or your teachers should be proud of your successful work, your support from others and no inequality should be shown like this.
