Daftar transfer

Dear Friends,
I have a query regarding the Daftar transfer. I am buying a preowned car from a person he is saying that there was a loan on the car which he paid however his loan clearance paper is lost. If i transfer the daftar of car under my name and if by chance he has some pending amount for the loan, then the new owner of the car has to pay ? Is there a way to check that car is not having any pending dues.? Kindly advice. Thanks for your help

If the current owner lost his loan clearance paper he can definitely get a copy form the same company where he took the loan.
Also murror will ask him if his daftar says it is in installment. Generally when someone clears his installment he will get a daftar which does not say installment during his next car passing or immediately after loan clearance.
None of his dues nor traffic fines will get carried over to you so don't worry Murror will check all those before transferring to you.
By the way which car are you buying and year.
