pre college
better to send him India for pre-college (11th, 12th) study after 10th Benefits of studying in India: Culturally enriching: Living in India can be a great way for your son to connect with his heritage. Cost-effective: Pre-university education in India can be more affordable compared to some other countries. I suggest you Acharya pre-university in Bangalore but you can look beyond Acharya for the better place because there are many excellent pre-university colleges in Bangalore. Use resources like Edustoke to explore options.

Let him complete 11 and 12th here as he says. By that time he will be mature enough to handle the situation wherever he goes. Regarding higher studies he can appear the entrance exams and get admission. NRI charges will be cheaper if you compare with abroad studies. If he pass the entrance exams in good score he get admission in the merit, not in NRI. This all depends on the course. Let him study now and don''t think much about it. That has to happen after 2 years.

Dear let your son stay with you till class 12. After that he has to leave Kuwait and rarely he will visit you. Once the children leave Kuwait then their visit is rare.
Competition in India to get admission in good universities / colleges is cut throat. Being an NRI admission is guaranteed even if you have to pay higher fee.
Kindly make sure that your job is safe till he passes class 12 else any job loss and if you have to move then child will suffer. I have seen parents leaving Kuwait in the middle of session affecting child. So take care of this aspect first.

Better to keep your children with you at least until they finish their schooling. They require guidance and love until they find their own. NRIs can admissions in reputed institutions under DASA-(Direct Admission of Students Abroad), a Central Govt initiative. Read about it.

Yes. I agree with "Life coach" under DASA scheme, you can get your son admitted in NITs in india... and if you opt for CIWG quota, the fess is same as a normal student.

I''ve observed that students who leave Kuwait after 10th grade to study in India for 11th and 12th grade often seem much more successful than those who stay in Kuwait until 12th grade

@obseserver: may be your observation is correct but children should willingly choose to move or stay away from parents rather than being forced. as forced separation could negatively impact a child''s mental health . god bless

For better percentage in 12th, Kuwait is better because in India, all mid term exams do not have gap of 1 or 2 days in between which enables student to study more about the subject. To get admission in NITs, Kuwait is better. Students can get admission through DASA. Local Indian students do not have that option of DASA. If not possible, try for state colleges for CIWG seats. NITs and colleges for CIWG category, have normal fees unlike fees for NRI quota. Don’t opt for IIT unless student gets 98+ percentage in 10th. Still chances are very very less. There are some students who get admission in IIT/NIT (civil) and do jobs in IT sector. If student do not get good percentage in 10th but want to do IT/CS eng. only, then they can do diploma in IT/CS after 10th and later after 2 years, they can get admission in degree with very less competition.
