It is a foolish idea to take from here. Last year I bought a Samsung 58"smart TV with 2 years extended warranty, free delivery to home and free fixing along with bracket through amazon.in. It costed me KD 185 (Rs 49,900.00). The same model was costing KD 180 in XCite. Now decide.
In Amazon todays price for Samsung 138 cm (55 inches) Crystal 4K Neo Series Ultra HD Smart LED TV UA55AUE65AKXXL (Black) is Rs 44,490.00 which is within KD 165.000. Check the below link.

30% of invoice value will be charged as customs duty in India. Apart from that, few airlines charges extra -upto 20-40KWD TV above 40". Moreover, no guarantee about the TV since it is extremely fragile and luggage handling inside airport is rough.
Choice is yours.

Not a good idea to carry TV from Kuwait to India.
TV in India are available almost same price of Kuwait.

Not suggested to Buy from Kuwait for Indian use. More chances of hardware failure on TV Unit and hard to repair in India.

What''s going on with people these days? Can''t they make informed decisions based on quick research and rational thinking? There are numerous factors to consider when purchasing an electronic item in Kuwait and taking it to India, such as warranty issues, customs payments, excess baggage costs, and the fact that the item may cost nearly the same in India.

Hi Raj
You need to spend a lot of time in negotiating the customs duty in airport. Better to buyt if from there as there are many options and almost all the models are available in India too.

Please dont by any TV from here or for that matter any electronic items. if you have some used items in good condition then take. but dont take a TV.
LED TV''s are quite cheap in India. First customs will rip you off, then comes warranty, then comes the weather condition, humidity is very high in India.
10 years back i took my 32" Samsung LED to Goa which i used for 5 years, paid Rs. 4000/- customs, used it for one holiday, when i went back the next year there was blank screen, i gave it for repairs and for next 2 years he couldn''t get the screen, I did not even get it back.
many of my friends took expensive music systems to India and within a year they are complaining that its not working.
everyone gave a negative response. now its up to you if you want to take or leave it. Good luck.
