On this auspicious day of celebrating India's Independence Day, IndiansinKuwait.com would like to extend its warm greetings and wish all our readers a "Happy Independence Day".

IndiansinKuwait.com - IIK brings to you yet another edition of our special supplement “Tiranga" from your popular IIK. We are very much thankful to all our readers, who stood with us throughout our journey to make us the number one online portal in Kuwait. Like in previous years, this year too we are here with a special supplement full of articles written by our special readers, expressing their salutation to their motherland! We are overwhelmed by the response that we received from our readers, especially from the Students and IIK Young Reporters in making this supplement possible. Kudos to the Kids. Our sincere thanks to all the contributors.

As you know, today when we look back to our mother country, we will see an economic superpower in the making. To be in this position is a source of great pride for India. And I believe it is just the beginning. There is more to come. Much more. So it is our duty to be a responsible Indian in this host country to keep our flag flying high.

We take this opportunity to thank His Excellency Dr. Adarsh Swaika (Ambassador of India, Kuwait) and all the officers and staff in Indian Embassy Kuwait for the support and encouragement they are extending to the Indian community in Kuwait.
