Freedom fighters are those people who fought for the freedom of our country and sacrificed their lives. In earlier times, people had the quality of being patriotic, devotion and support for one’s motherland. Every country has a few brave hearts who willingly give up their lives for their country. India had been in controlled of the Britishers for over 200 years. In these 200 years many brave freedom fighters came they fought against Britishers and sacrificed their lives. Some Noteworthy Indian Freedom Fighters were Mahatma Gandhi he is known as the ‘Father of Nation’ , the reason behind the Dandi march, led the path to freedom following the principles of ahimsa or non-violence. He prioritised ‘swadeshi’ and ‘non-cooperation’ to expedite the freedom movement. There are many other brave freedom fighters like Rani Lakshmibai , Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, B.R.Ambedkar and many more .We should respect their courage and we must honour them for their audacity, bravery, daring, determination, and fearlessness. We as a citizen of India should respect and honor the sacrifice made by them for us by creating a peaceful environment in the country.
