I earlier posted a query on residence extension beyond 6 months due to medical reasons. I received a few feedback.But the none of suggestions were right.
The correct procedure is -
-get the certificate from your local hospital
-Notarize in your area
-Translate in to arabic
-Attest translation from indian embassy snd them foriegn affairs
- Apply in your repective passport office.
I followed this and got the extension.
I have posted this just for members info.
I also urge the members to look into legal clinic in arabtimes online ,where correct information on various topics of residence and visa available.

Yesterday at the Salmiya beach i had gone with my kids and lost my gold ring . Its very vague to ask here in this forum for my ring , but still in case anyone finds my gold ring , please be kind to return it to me as its my marriage ring. kindly call me on .9282037. there is my wife's name carved on the ring.

i heard as per new rule i have to go to farwaniya.

IS IT TRUE that,
People who already took their return ticket BY A/I, has to travel by EXPRESS. No food, low baggage allowance. In addition 10 hrs long journy!!!
People who questioned for this issue are advised to change the ticket. Paying the cancellation charges...!!!!

I am working in a contracting company, recently one of my co-worker died in hospital and body send to India.Is there any amount giving to the dead persons by Kuwait(we r paying 51 KD only yearly by company).for him co-workers contributed some money and send. if anybody knows rule pls help

Dr. D. Shashikala, the Hyderabadi doctor, who has taken up the onerous task of providing food, medicare and even free air tickets to them in Dubai.
Since amnesty was announced last year, hundreds of poor and sick illegal immigrants have been knocking at the doors of Al Misbah Medical Centre, a polyclinic in Dubai run by Dr. Shashikala. “We are helping in whatever way we could but the numbers are ever increasing. Despite financial limitations, we have helped purchase 400 to 500 air tickets for A.P workers to come back,” Dr. Shashikala informed media persons on Thursday.
According to her, several persons from the State are languishing in UAE jails. “We receive so many phone calls from them for help. Out of desperation they call us, but we have financial constraints. We need pragmatic persons willing to help such people,” she said.

Most of us have been living in Kuwait for more than 5 years. Why don't we express our solidarity to Kuwait in conserving the electricity by stopping the Electric power usage for 8 (Eight)minutes on 8th August 2008 (08-08-08)? Think over it, after all Kuwait is our second home!!

I have got a job in Dubai and am moving. I want my family to continue here until their Dubai visa is ready (It may take 1.5 months after I leave) so that schooling will not be disturbed much. My doubts are :
a. While cancelling my family's residence will Ministry give permission for 2 months additional stay (I know that they permit 1 month)
b. Can I cancel my residence and leave Kuwait without cancelling theirs and later on they move on to Dubai without cancelling their residence?
c. I may have to cancel my electricity connection before I leave. In such case they may not be able to stay here even if they get 1 month permission
